If you only have time for one full day tour in and around Lima don’t miss this one! It has it all! The tour we took with Andres as our guide could not have been better. He was an excellent guide. Answered our many questions patiently with so much knowledge. We enjoyed him as well as our driver Carlos. It is a very long day but the hours seemed to fly. Packed so much in that we feel it was value for money. Loved our lunch as well. The water park/fountain show at the end was magical. Dont miss this tour! Meander195978638572023-11-30Wonderful and Culturally Rich Experirnce! My guide, Andy, and driver, Oscar, made this a wonderful experience. They took great care of me! I was the only person who booked that day, so it turned into a private tour. I learned so much about Lima history and the culture of the Peruvian people! It was a full itinerary and I loved all of it.JessDF2023-10-11110% would recommend this walking tour ! We had such a great experience with GoToPeru, specifically our amazing guide Felipe ! It was a private tour for the two of us and he shared so much wonderful history and culture about Peru & Lima, and showed us parts of architecture that we would have never noticed on our own. He had such a fun personality too and we really enjoyed the banter and little tidbits of information here and there during our trips to the historical sites, and even the little Pisco tasting session on our tour. The cherry on the top of the cake is that Felipe takes AMAZING photos! He’s an absolute pro and we are so glad to have these pictures to store as memories of our time here. 110% would recommend !! You’ll be in for a great time !A L2023-09-20Incredible Experience! Amazing experience! Book it! Incredible, knowledgeable and kind guide. It’s a full day but you see and experience so much! I can’t say more good things about this tour.Alana B2023-06-29Wonderful Experience What a great way to experience Lima! Our guide, Andy, picked us up at our hotel in Miraflores. Oscar, our driver, expertly negotiated the Lima traffic throughout the day. Our first stop was Pachacamac, a pre-Inca site south of Lima. Pachacamac has a beautiful museum full of centuries old pieces. Andy explained the history of the site and guided us around archaeological ruins. The site has stunning views of the ocean. After Pachacamac we drove to Barranco and had lunch at a family run Peruvian restaurant. The food was delicious! We walked around the neighborhood and got a great feel for every day life in Peru. After our lunch, we drove to downtown Lima to explore the sites. Andy expertly guided us through the streets, stopping to explain the history and significance of the many buildings (and even a few protestors). We loved the Convent of San Francisco! It was gorgeous! The catacombs were a little creepy, but it was fun to explore. Finally, we stopped at the Magic Water Circuit Park. It was packed with Peruvians, mainly families. It was great to experience it without other tourists. The Circuit consists of a movie or light show projected on some fountains. It was fun to watch. We got back to our hotel around 8:00, completely exhausted. It was a great day. Andy was a terrific guide. He knew so much about Peruvian history and the political situation. He was smart and fun! He also helped us find a cheap suitcase to use because my husband’s collapsed on our trip. I can’t say enough good things about him.CmkAtl2023-05-24Get the real story behind the Bridge of Sighs Incredible. We thought we would have been on a shared tour with others, but we were not and as such it was tailor made for our needs. Our tour guide Andy was an encyclopedia of knowledge, answering our questions with vibe and making the history come alive. Our driver Oscar adhered to proper safety and the ride was very comfortable, with him finding us back when required. We had done another walking tour, without the visit to Pachacama and the Magic Water Circuit, and this tour added to the experience of the first, giving additional information and perspective. Lunch was soul food Peruvian and the Cilantro rice was full of flavour. Definitely worth doing whilst in Lima.BrianR_112023-05-22Experience Lima Our all too brief tour of the incredible city of Lima was excellent. Lima’s rich history came alive through our insightful guide Lillie. Lillie was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We wished we had more time to spend with her.Allen M2023-05-05INCREDIBLE My friend and I had an awesome time on this tour. Nico was our tour guide and he did an excellent job. There were many highlights of this tour. The first includes the excellent vehicle we were driven in, which was air conditioned(!). The next was that Nico knew so much about the history at the Pachacamac temple. We asked him SO MANY questions and I was genuinely surprised by how much he knew - I expected him to not know the answer to many questions, but he always did. We also loved the Peruvian meal we were provided in Barranco, and were able to taste several dishes while also visiting the bridge of sighs and seeing the many murals and graffiti in the area. In the downtown part of the tour, we tasted many types of local alcohol including the famous Pisco and were able to see catacombs under the cathedral. Finally, finishing the day at the magic water circuit was a real treat. Honestly, this was the equivalent of 3+ tours in one and felt like an excellent choice. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and would love to spend a day with Nico again! Thank you Nico!Bev K2023-01-116 hours Must See sites of Lima plus Casa Aliga We scheduled the half day tour of the "must see sights in Lima" plus the Casa Aliaga. Vanessa, our guide, was prompt, articulate, personable, and a wealth of knowledge. She really helped us better understand the culture of Lima vis-a-vis the rest of Peru. The highlights of the tour included the Museo Larco (fascinating display of pre Incan artificts) and the Casa Aliaga, the oldest house in Peru with amazing furnishings! Take time to eat at the museum restaurant which is quite charming.ScottJ2022-09-21
